StatiEx antistatic, highly wear-resistant pad, mat and foil material

StatiEX materials are flexible, extremely wear and temperature resistant and electric conductive mixtures of natural and synthetic rubber formulations.

StatiEX Electric conductivity is created by carbon additives encapsulated in an internal threedimensional (= volumetric) electric conductivity matrix.

StatiEx has a limited flammability and even withstands molten solder alloy or solder droplets from soldering irons.

StatiEx has a volumetric electric conductivity and is available from 5000 to 100,000 Ohm.cm (*).

StatiEX confirms to the German standard DIN 53482, 53483, 53486 and to the British standards (BSI) 2050, 2044 and 3187.

StatiEX can be mounted or fixed to any surface. Simply lay it on top and fix it with
bostitch clamps, by nailing, screwing, clamping or by bolting or even glueing.

StatiEx Bench top sizes:

  • 0.5x1.0m, thickness 1mm, System-No. #10004
  • 1.0x1.0m, thickness 1mm, System-No. #10005
  • 10.0x1.0m, thickness 1mm, System-No. #10008

StatiEx is available on reels of 1 Meter width and in thickness of 1 mm. Reels are available of a minimum length between 3 meters and up to 10 meters.

Other thicknesses and electrical resistance available on request.

StatiEX will not emit or migrate particles by itself, except those created by mechanical abrasion.

StatiEX is not a plastic based material and will not migrate plastisizers or any other chemicals.

There are antistatic pads available based on PVC and PU compounds on the market. Such plastic materials usually tend to migrate plastisizers and stabilizer chemicals to its surface.

StatiEx has one side with a smooth and the other side with a textile texture like rough surface. Both sides can be used as the working area. The rough side has a higher coefficient of friction than the smooth side. The smooth side can be easier cleaned.
