Adjustmentes done on Terminal

All the process relevant parameter for the LA2000 are defined with the terminal and then downloaded to and permanently stored in the Control box. The Terminal allows the operator to choose from six languages. Details are given in the Users Manual.

The terminal reads from the Control box the individual serial number and the set operation mode, besides the parameters stored in the Control.

The Control can be set to four diffenent operational modes. A password protects the system against a mode change.

Control can also take over a MASTER function and guide any number of SLAVE in individual modes.

The Control marked (A) on the front page operates as Master (in mode 0), (B) follows as a slave (in this application also in mode 0).

Working in mode <3> presents a pure solder Wire Feeder.

Working in mode <2> allows the Solder wire drive to be mounted directly on a transport cylinder or slide (both as cylinder Z2). Timing for the slide is T2.

Depending on mode, the control supervises the position sensors on the cylinders. Actuation of these sensors defines the starting point for the timers. The delay time T2 starts only after the sensor <WORK> of Z1 cylinder is actuated and arrival of flame in work position was reporte to Control.

If the travel time between HOME and WORK gets too long, then the Control responds with a Time-out error message, noise alarm and corresponding output signal for a higher control level if used within a larger automation system.

The LA2000 controls the solenoid valve bank which itself gives the air pressure to one of the both cyllinder inputs. Travel in both diurections is forced.

There are some more additonal features in this Control software to even master very demanding aplication tasks. These informations are supplied with the LA2000SS system.
